As the dawn breaks over this beautiful land,

I sit here and wait for you, my eternal Earth Mother,

To wake from your sleep and dreams of the night

To learn of your wisdom that lies deep within,

To hear of your truth that can be shared with us all

And find the love and the beauty that resides on this Earth.

 

You have endured many hardships,

So that we might find our own light

And discover who we are and be all that we can.
We now seem to have lost sight of this gift

And gone on journeys far removed from our hearts

To places unknown where we are split from the truth.

Mother Earth, I ask you as to how we can joyously lift up our hearts,

To find the love and the peace that belongs to us all.
